I’d never heard of this particular brand of ice cream before, just like the world had never heard about pastor Terry “burn the koran” Jones either a couple of months ago.
Seems all you need to do is offend people, and you get all the free publicity you could ever wish for.
Do the media need to be more responsible in what stories they cover?
“It seems that Antonio Fedirici ice-cream has not any intention to stop targeting the nuns. Now, in its new ad it features a pregnant nun who enjoys an ice-cream with a strap line- ‘immaculately conceived’. The ad is the latest in the company’s “Ice-cream is our religion” campaign.”
Or are religious sensibilities just another dogma that needs challenging?
