Revolution in Tunisia – 60 Dead As President Zine El Abidine Ben Ali Flees Country

Tunisia’s President Zain El-Abedine Ben Ali fled the country heading to Malta after dismissing his government following massive riots.

A state of emergency has been declared amid protests over corruption, unemployment and rising prices.

The announcement comes as the Tunisian army took control of the airport, with at least 60 people dying at the hands of the police.

The demonstrators were marching through Tunis to demand the resignation of the country’s autocratic leader.

Many shouted ‘Ben Ali, out!’ and ‘Ben Ali, assassin!’

Could this be the first tyrant dictator in North Africa to fall?

The tinpot dictators in Morocco, Algeria & Egypt should be worried, your heads may be next to roll.
