Downing Street Rats Out Of Control & Then There’s The Rodent Problem

It is the rodent population under question not just the usual rats who inhabit downing street.

It’s just one of those incidents that is both ironic and symbolic.

The fact that rats are filthy creatures who have spread misery across the world for thousands of years makes the comparison to politicians so spot on that words fail to convey the ultimate irony of rats inhabiting the halls of power.

The fact that it seems impossible to get rid of them once they have established themselves also makes it a great metaphor for corrupt politicians.
