Never Will Allah Change The Condition Of A People Until They Change It Themselves

“Verily never will Allah change the condition of a people until they change it themselves (with their own souls). But when (once) Allah willeth a people’s punishment there can be no turning it back nor will they find besides Him any to protect.”

Holy Quran – Surah Al Ra’d – Ayah 11

Our most hidden thoughts and motives are known to Allah Az’ Wajjal at all times

Every person, whether he conceals or reveals his thoughts, whether he skulks in darkness or goes about by day, all are under Allah’s watch and ward. His grace encompasses everyone, and again and again protects him, if he will only take the protection, from harm and evil. If in his folly he thinks he can secretly take some pleasure or profit, he is wrong, for recording angels record all his thoughts and deeds.

Allah is not intent on punishment. He created man virtuous and pure; he gave him intelligence and knowledge; he surrounded him with all sorts of instruments of His grace and mercy. If, in spite of all this, man distorts his own will and goes against Allah’s Will, yet is Allah’s forgiveness open to him if he will take it. It is only when he has made his own sight blind and changed his own nature or soul away from the beautiful mould in which Allah formed it, that Allah’s Wrath will descend on him and the favourable position in which Allah placed him will be changed. When once the punishment comes, there is no turning it back. None of the things which he relied upon- other than Allah-can possibly protect him.

“84 Then fight in Allah’s cause thou art held responsible only for thyself and rouse the believers. It may be that Allah will restrain the fury of the unbelievers: for Allah is the strongest in might and in punishment.

85 Whoever recommends and helps a good cause becomes a partner therein: and whoever recommends and helps an evil cause shares in its burden: and Allah hath power over all things.”

Holy Quran – Surah An Nisaa – Ayah’s 84-85

(4.84) The courage of Muhammad (SAW) was as notable as his wisdom, his gentleness, and his trust in Allah. Facing fearful odds, he often stood alone, and took the whole responsibility on himself. But his example and visible trust in Allah inspired and roused the Muslims, and also-speaking purely from a human point of view-restrained the fury of his enemies. When we consider that he was Allah’s inspired Messenger to carry out His Plan, we can see that nothing can resist that Plan. If the enemy happens to have strength, power, or resources, Allah’s strength, power, and resources are infinitely greater. If the enemy is meditating punishment on the righteous for their righteousness. Allah’s punishment for such wickedness will be infinitely greater and more effective.

(4.85) In this fleeting world’s chances Allah’s providence and justice may not always appear plain to our eyes. But we are asked to believe that if we help and support a good cause, we share in all its credit and in its eventual victory. And conversely, we cannot support a bad cause without sharing in all its evil consequences. If appearances seem against this faith, let us not be deceived by appearances. For Allah has power over all things.

The Fall of The US Empire

America has dominated the world economically, militarily, politically and culturally and has used these four factors to underpin and support one other, but what happens when these foundations begin to crumble?

In an effort to try to externalise, to say that there are enemies abroad that are trying to get at us, instead of saying the obvious, namely that we have made a construction, and that construction is dying itself is self deluding.

Johan Galtung is a founder of the field of peace and conflict studies, he’s spent the past half-century pursuing nonviolent conflict resolution in international relations. His latest book is The Fall of the US Empire – And Then What?

He recognises Sykes Picot, Balfour Declaration, The Occupation & Dismantling of the Islamic Caliphate as the imperial tools that Muslims have a gripe with, which manifests itself today as a simple ugly caricature of “they hate us for our freedoms and democracy”.

This highly unintelligent and yet intoxicating narrative is one that is widely accepted by the masses.

The Washington consensus which the rest of the “Western world” follows is hell bent on pursuing a victory, one which will never happen.

And here’s why – 1.6 billion Muslims are dedicated to the idea of defending Islam when it’s trampled upon.

The notion of defending Islam is represented in various forms – for some will travel to Afghanistan, or any other front opened in the never ending war of terror.

Secondly, there is no capitulation in Islam – in other words, the time perspective of the Muslim community is unlimited. I don’t think the time perspective of Washington is unlimited. So you can say, of course, who has the longer time perspective will win. There may be some local capitulation, a white flag somewhere, but by and large the usual scenario of a tent, maybe, with a camping table, somebody diligently typing a couple of copies of a capitulation document and “please sign on the dotted line,” forget about it.

Forget about it.

That’s not the way it happens these days.

Attorney General To Study Claims That Mi6 Assassinated Dr. David Kelly

The mystery over the death of Dr. David Kelly took a further twist after a former KGB officer said he had evidence that the former weapons expert was assassinated is being studied by the Attorney General.

As I blogged in an earlier post, Dr Kelly was found dead in woods near his Oxfordshire home in July 2003, after the Government exposed him as the source of a BBC report questioning Tony Blair’s case for war in Iraq.

Boris Karpichkov claims to relay information from an ‘MI5 agent’ that Dr Kelly was ‘exterminated’.

Karpichkov says he got to know the ‘agent’, Peter Everett, while working for Everett’s company Group Global Intelligence Services.

Group Global Intelligence Services, now dissolved, hired former MI5 spies for corporate detective work and infiltration.

“Karpichkov says that during one of their meetings, two days after Dr Kelly’s body was found, Mr Everett told him that Dr Kelly had been ‘exterminated’ for his ‘reckless behaviour’.

Mr Karpichkov says Mr Everett suggested he was himself an ‘active field operative’ for MI5, and continues: ‘He told me that it was extremely uncomfortable, inconsistent and unusual for Dr Kelly to slash his arm in the way he did. He would have lost some blood, but it would not have been fatal.

‘He also claimed that it was not a coincidence that Special Branch officers were the ones who first appeared on the scene. They moved Dr Kelly’s body to another location, changed the original position of his corpse and took away incriminating evidence.

‘He added that the scene where Dr Kelly’s body was found was carefully arranged and completely “washed out”, including the destruction of all fingerprints.

‘When I asked who was behind his death, he [ Mr Everett] answered indirectly, saying the “competing firm”, which I took to mean MI6.’

Last week I did piece on Carne Ross’s day giving evidence to the Chilcot inquiry.

Any dissenting opinion that was against the war machine was brutally silenced.

It’s not beyond the realms of possibility that to keep her American master happy, our Government would do what ever it took to crush all expert opinion.

The Akh has never had any faith in drawn out inquiries, especially those that have no real power to execute a verdict of any sort, but what we are seeing is a unravelling of the cover up, lies and propaganda the government used to illegally invade Iraq.

Why not go full circle and demand George W Bush, Dick Cheney & Donald Rumsfeld be bought forward to the Chilcot Inquiry.

“Nay, indeed, if you had your eyes, you might fail of the knowing me: it is a wise father that knows his own child. Well, old man, I will tell you news of your son: give me your blessing: truth will come to light; murder cannot be hid long; a man’s son may, but at the length truth will out.”

Shakespeare – The Merchant of Venice, 1596

Let’s hope “the truth will out” in our lifetime.

PM David Cameron Says “Gaza Is A Prison Camp”

David Cameron has described Gaza as a prison camp and appealed to the Israeli Government to allow the free flow of humanitarian goods and people in and out of the Palestinian territory.

Good for David Cameron. Gaza is indeed a prison camp, and the PM is right to say so.

Naturally, his remark will be seen as inflammatory by pro Israeli’s.

To put down a firm marker against Israel’s disgraceful siege of Gaza is one thing.

To do so side-by-side with Turkey’s Prime Minister Recep Tayyik Erdogan sends an even stronger signal, given the stand-off after the Israelis killed Turkish citizens in their raid on an aid flotilla.

Free Gaza, Free Palestine!

The True Nature of The Afghan War

Vodpod videos no longer available.

The truth is often the first casualty of any war – The War of Terror in Afghanistan has been a primer about media control and manipulation. What was supposed to be a clean operation has turned into a war of attrition – what is shown to us the viewer back home is of a clean, almost surgical like efficiency in dealing with “insurgents”, “taliban” and “Al-CIAda”.

I put these into brackets simple because any civilian deaths are marked off as being resistance fighters belonging to one of any of these self created factions that are used to terrorise us back in “The West”, the uber bogeyman if you will.

There will be plenty of recrimination for WikiLeaks, I’m sure they will be attacked, accused and smeared by the military industrial complex for putting our soldiers lives at risk by publishing this data. The fact that WikiLeaks boss Julian Assange has been on the run for the last few months from the American Army should tell you how seriously pissed off the Army is.

This past Friday, 45 Afghani civilians were murdered in a botched NATO air strike.

The self righteous media always extols its virtues of human rights yet fall deadly silent in their condemnation of their own leadership.

This subservient form of reporting in which the media swallow the government line and will not report on the deaths of Afghan civilians, or it is reported almost as an after thought, as this will harm the war effort back home.

Am I the only one who refuses to trade in humanity for patriotism?

What Is Cameron’s “Big Society” All About?

David Cameron and his Conservative party have made a big deal about their “Big Society” pledge, but do any of us have a clue to what the real agenda is?

Let The Akh break it down for you.

Big Society should be read as unpaid ordinary people running services (in most cases that they are not qualified to run) while the rich and powerful big-wigs pocket the savings from effectively out sourcing the daily running of their operations.

You can bet that bankers, corporate executives and even numbskull footballers (the next generation’s middle class) won’t be volunteering.

As expected, the pre-election friendly Tory party is gone.

Instead of having the balls to cut services – the government are letting ill equipped individuals run services into the ground – and then shift the blame onto them for ill performing schools and hospitals.

The vindictive, slash and burn, nasty party of Thatcher’s era is back with a vengeance.

Rape Israeli Style: Arab Man Jailed For Having Consensual Sex With Israeli Woman

An Arab living in Israel has been sentenced to 18 months in prison for having consensual sex with an Israeli woman who apparently believed he was Jewish.

Sabbar Kashur was sentenced after being convicted of “rape by deception”.

Is being an Arab, Israel’s criteria for rape?

The Sunday Times reported in 2009 on a squad of “vigilantes” in the Jewish settlement of Pisgat Zeev. The group has patrolled the streets for more than a decade looking for mixed couples.

If the definition of democracy is equal rights for all people then surely the selective application of the law against Arabs is just plain racism.

More proof if any was needed that Israel operates a two tier system for it’s citizens – indigenous Arab’s being the lowest of the low.

If a Jewish man had sex with an Arab woman under false pretences, would he have been convicted of rape?

The answer is: of course not.

“What Was My Father’s Crime?” Son Asks as 92 Year Old Father Murdered By American Special Forces

On March 21, 2010, a joint U.S. and Afghan force, killed a 92-year-old civilian, Abdul Ghani Khan, in Wardak Province, Afghanistan. In this interview, the slain man’s son, Zaitullah Ghiasi Wardak, relates the family’s account of the night his father was murdered.

Khan’s death is the latest in a string of civilian killings by U.S. special forces in night raids. Earlier this year, special forces killed 3 women -two of them pregnant – along with two local Afghan government officials and then tried to cover it up.

The U.S. military strategy in Afghanistan is expected to rely even more heavily on special forces in the future.

These incidents are moral outrages, and contrary to popular rhetoric, it doesn’t make Britain any safer.

Fatwa Given – Muslims Must Not Wear ‘Devilish’ Manchester United Shirts

Scholars in Malaysia have decreed that Muslims should not wear the Devil inspired Manchester United football shirt.

“This is very dangerous. As a Muslim, we should not worship the symbols of other religions or the devils,”

Nooh Gadot, a top Islamic cleric from the southern Johor state, told AFP.

At a time where Islam is under attack on so may levels, The Akh has to ask how are our esteemed scholars passing their time? Is it in the defence of Islam and Muslims worldwide?

Either you blame the scholar or you blame the clueless person who sought the advice in the first place.

At least that’s some good news for us Liverpool fans.

Nick Clegg: “Iraq War Was Illegal”

Acting Prime Minister Nick Clegg categorically stated that the invasion of Iraq was illegal, as the video from yesterdays PM question time shows.

This comes from the highest man in office to publicly state the invasion was illegal.

The media witch hunt against him will begin in earnest, and he will be forced to retract what he said.

It’s not clear which scenario is applicable:

A) Clegg is not, actually, really bothered about the Iraq War. He was just getting worked up, forgetting his script and ‘losing it’ in his haste to berate a political opponent – chief cheerleader for the illegal invasion – Jack Straw?

B) Clegg really does hold a belief based on principle rather than expediency: the Iraq War was “illegal”. And his ‘gaffe’ marks the first sign of real tension in the coalition?

Carne Ross has over fifteen years diplomatic experience in the British Foreign Office and United Nations. Between 1997-98, he served as the speechwriter to the British Foreign Secretary, preparing speeches on all areas of British foreign policy. He then spent four and a half years in the UK delegation on the UN Security Council, where he was the delegation’s Middle East “expert” (with the rank of First Secretary).

He is as close as to an “expert” there is on the Middle East.

Have a read of what he had to say when giving evidence to the Chilcot inquiry.

“…the UK assessment of the Iraqi threat that were, in their totality, lies.”

A lot of what he said went deliberately missing from the mass media’s coverage, although The Guardian’s Chris Ames’s had an excellent write-up, stating Ross’s evidence was:

“not the sort of words you are supposed to use at an establishment inquiry”

Perjury + mendacity = Cover up.
